Dr. Brian Magna, DPT, ATC

CEO | Physical Therapist

Brian has been working as a physical therapist for over 20 years. He holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Institute of Health and a physical therapy degree from the University of Connecticut. Brian's other degrees include a masters degree from Western Michigan University in sports medicine as well as a bachelors degree from Eastern Connecticut State University in Biology.

Dr. Suzanne Osborne, MSPT, DPT

Physical Therapist | Center Coordinator of Clinical Education (CCCE)

Suzanne received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions and has been practicing within the greater Hartford area since 2001. In addition to her skilled knowledge of orthopedic and sports physical therapy, Suzanne has extensive experience with vestibular therapy and balance disorders.

Dr. Brianne M. Dwyer, PT, DPT

Clinic Manager Avon | Dance Medicine Director | Certified Pilates Instructor

Brianne received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University in 2018. Prior to receiving her doctorate, Brianne graduated from DeSales University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Jennifer Stawarz, MSPT

Physical Therapist

In 2004, Jennifer received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Hartford.  She offers quality orthopedic care and her treatments emphasize a hands-on approach combined with medical exercise training. She believes in promoting a healthy lifestyle and loves educating her patients about diet and exercise for the mind and body. 

Dr. Meagan K. Robichaud, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist | Dance Medicine Coordinator

Meagan graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Springfield College. Meagan graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Springfield College. Prior to receiving her doctorate she completed her undergraduate studies in Health Sciences and Dance. She has had a passion for dance and incorporating it into her career for many years.

Dr. Ryan Edgar, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Ryan graduated Mount Saint Mary College with his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2015, and completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Hartford in 2018. He enjoys treating a wide variety of sports related injuries and also discovered particular enjoyment in treating adolescents.

Dr. Sarah Parker, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Sarah is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a strong background in dance and Pilates. She received her Bachelor’s degree in 2017 from Springfield College with a concentration in Dance and received her Doctorate from Springfield College two years later.

Katie Bittner

Physical Therapist Aide

Katie Bittner attended University of Hartford, graduating with a BFA in classical ballet pedagogy in May, 2016. Katie has been part of the Magna team since 2016 and enjoys applying her knowledge of kinesiology and classical ballet to the practice of rehabilitating dancers and athletes.

Lea-Janell Mitchell

Physical Therapist Aide | Personal Trainer

Lea-Janell Mitchell is originally from East Lansing, Michigan. Lea graduated in May of 2015 with a BFA in Dance Performance and Ballet Pedagogy. Lea joined the Magna team in October of 2017. She is a certified Personal Trainer and is studying for a continued education in high performing athletics.

Janelle Holmes

Physical Therapist Aide | Patient Service Representative

Janelle Holmes recently earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts from University of Hartford in May of 2020, with a focus in ballet pedagogy. While attending The Hartt School, she performed in many main stage shows, and danced as a guest artist with Ballet Hartford.

Cameron Whitney

Physical Therapist Aide

Cameron Whitney is originally from Rochester, New York. She graduated from the University of Hartford in 2019, receiving her BFA in Ballet Pedagogy. She is currently a faculty and staff member at the University of Hartford's Hartt School Community Dance Department.

Phoebe Magna

Physical Therapist Aide

Phoebe Magna is originally from Canton, Connecticut. She grew up dancing at the Hartt School Community Division and later graduated from the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts. Professionally, Phoebe has danced with Colorado Ballet, City Ballet of San Diego and is currently a company dancer with Boulder Ballet.

Michaela Esteban

Physical Therapist Aide

Michaela Esteban is a dancer and choreographer from Canton, CT. After receiving her early training from the Valley Ballet, she attended the University of Michigan and graduated in 2019 with a BFA in Dance.

Cheryl Cleaves

Customer Service Coordinator | Bookkeeper

Cheryl is the Customer Service Coordinator and bookkeeper at Magna Physical Therapy.
She came to us with an extensive background in sales and marketing leading 3M/Cuno in their consumer customer service department for 9 years. She also worked in international sales & marketing for SINCO, Inc. and came to us after working for the State of Connecticut Military Department.

Anna Lafreniere

Patient Service Representative

Anna has been apart of the Magna PT team for 4-years, working as both a PT Aide and Patient Service Representative. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in May 2020 with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition for Exercise and Sport. She is currently working towards receiving her doctorate in physical therapy.
