For over 20 years, MagnaPT has been dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-focused physical therapy in the Farmington Valley. With clinics in Avon (since 2005) and Canton (since 2020), we welcome more than 16,000 patient visits each year. Our five dedicated physical therapists specialize in post-surgical rehab, dance and golf medicine, vestibular therapy, and more.

Founded by Dr. Brian Magna, Magna Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center began with a clear purpose: to deliver evidence-based care, compassionate support, and a personal touch. Two decades later, we continue to uphold those founding ideals. With a patient-centered approach, every care plan is tailored to your unique needs, whether post-surgical rehabilitation, manual therapy, or a proactive annual PT Physical.

  • Dr. Brian A. Magna, PT, DPT, ATC

    CEO

    Brian has been working as a PT for over 35 years and holds numerous degrees, including a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Institute of Health and a physical therapy degree from the University of Connecticut.

    Dr. Brianna Hanlon, PT, DPT

    Physical Therapist

    Brianna earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Hartford. During her clinical education, she gained experience across a variety of settings, including Fyzical Outpatient Private Orthopedic, Connecticut Children’s Elite Sports Medicine, Athletico Physical Therapy Outpatient Orthopedic, and McLean Health Center and Home Care Outpatient Rehab.

    Physical Therapist

    Laura holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from American International College. Throughout her academic career, she completed full-time clinical affiliations at Bay State Physical Therapy (NH), Greg Ott Physical Therapy (NC), and Visiting Nursing and Rehab Services (MA).

    Meagan is a passionate and dedicated Doctor of Physical Therapy, having earned her Doctorate from Springfield College. With an academic foundation in Health Sciences and Dance, Meagan’s career seamlessly merges her lifelong love of movement with her expertise in rehabilitation.

    Suzanne received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions and has been practicing in the greater Hartford area since 2001.

    Jennifer is a dedicated physical therapist with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Hartford, earned in 2004. With a passion for orthopedic care, she specializes in a hands-on treatment approach combined with medical exercise training to support optimal recovery and mobility.
